Degreasing & Bleaching

1. Technological process of degreasing & bleaching:
Feeding----opening and scotching----compression----feed into the boiler----dehydration----dry off----inspection----package
1) The process of compression must be homogeneous, density must be the same and
circulation must be unobstructed.
2) It must add the water in the process of compression (PH value is: 5.3-5.6).
The effects of adding water is pressurization, and reduce the volume of our products.
3) The boiler we use currently is the biggest in our field (the clear height is 3m, total height is 5m, and diameter is 1.8m), and the material is stainless steel, automatic control in the whole process, don’t need hand operation, these greatly increase the production efficiency.
4) We have the longest dryer in our domestic field, increase the drying time. The dryer has a big output, and the material of steam pipeline is stainless steel, in order to avoid producing metal.
5) We use the needle detectors together with manual work for inspection. (Needle
detectors equipment means removing metal equipment, it contains the strong magnet, can remove the iron effectively.)This is our own, and others don’t have this equipment.
6) It will take 2 hours to degrease, and 1 hour to bleach in the degreasing & bleaching
process.
2. What will be wiped off from the cotton fiber in the process of cotton fiber degreasing? And what is the effect?
1) Waxes and pectin are wiped off from the cotton fiber in the process of cotton fiber degreasing.
2) The effect is: make the water absorbing capacity of the cotton bigger.
3. What are the chemical materials are used in the process of degreasing & bleaching
process? What are their effects?
1) Caustic soda (liquid state or solid state): the effect is degreasing.
2) Hydrogen peroxide: the effect is bleaching, to make the product more beautiful, and further to remove impurities.
3) Vitriol: adjust the PH value, make the product’s PH value reach to neutral. (Usually add 98% vitriol, so the vitriol need attenuation.)
4. What are the factors decide the whiteness and absorption time of the degreasing cotton?
  Raw material, maturity, time of degreasing & bleaching, attenuation of caustic soda, the length of the fiber, circulation, compression, impurities.
5. Is high temperature and high pressure advantageous to the degreasing of cotton fiber? Why?
1) High temperature and high pressure is advantageous to the degreasing of cotton fiber.
2) Reasons: Flow velocity is faster, the pressure is bigger, and the mandatory infiltration to make the osmotic force stronger. There are the positive and reverse circulations in the boiler, to speed up the reaction of various kinds of chemical materials in the boiler, and finish the chemical reaction in a short time, improve the product’s quality.
6. What is the key point about the quality in the degreasing & bleaching process?
  Degreasing & bleaching, dryer, moisture control (<8%), impurity,
And metal control.
7. What are the main production equipments in the degreasing & bleaching workshop? What are the characteristics of our equipment?
1) The main production equipments in the degreasing & bleaching workshop are: water filtration equipment, opening and scotching equipment, compression equipment, boiler, dryer, needle detector equipment, hydraulic baling press.
2) Characteristics of our equipment: we have the biggest boiler and longest dryer in our domestic field. And also we have needle detector equipment and soft water treatment equipment, but others don’t have these.
8. What is needle detector? And what about the effect?
1) Needle detector (needle inspecting machine). It is a kind of ferromagnetic metal
induction instrument. And also it is a kind of detecting instrument apply to textile industry belongs to the classification of metal detector.
2) Effect: Used to detect the metal or broken needles in textiles. To remove metal material from the source, improve the quality of the product.
9. What is the water treatment equipment of our company? And what about the role in
production?
1) Soft water treatment equipment: improve the quality (whiteness), reduce the product’s
impurity and residue.
2) Waste water treatment equipment: pollution Zero discharge and protect the
environments.
