1. What are the parts of the cotton cleaner?

2. What is the cotton cleaner’s effect?
1) Automatic bale plucker: grasp and smash different varieties of raw materials
2) Condenser: inhale the backend cotton, and send to fore head machine
3) Automatic blender: mixture, opening and scotching, removal of impurities
4) Cotton slitter: opening and scotching, removal of impurities

3. What are neps? How to come into being?
1) Neps of the cotton are the fiber knots which are the cotton fiber closely intertwined. They are the cotton intertwined by the fiber which in the production process. Usually it is the small particles in the cotton, but not the impurities.
2) Reason: Because of the speed of the cotton production machine and gap arrangement are unreasonable, rag and scratches are existed in the adding cotton passageway (the passageway is not smooth and clean), after several times operation and knotting, finally these become the neps.
4. How to reduce the neps in the process of cleaning and carding?
1) Adjust the configuration of the speed of the cotton production machine and gap arrangement according to the technological requirements.
2) Make the adding cotton passageway smooth and clean.
5. What is the effective width of the card web combed by the carding machine?

6. What is the square gram of the cotton slice?
  Square gram of the cotton slice means 1 square meter cotton slice’s weight.
7. How to increase the cotton slice’s square gram?
1) Increase the quantity of cotton on the machine that is making the cotton layer wider on the shake cotton hopper.
2) Accelerate the speed of the wheel gear (next to the licker-in).
3) Increase the quantity of the carding machine.
8. What principle to convey when cotton in the process of cleaning & carding?
1) The cotton through the shake cotton hopper, to change the cotton sent by the front into certain specifications and thickness.
2) Through the feed plate, Feed roller and holder, and then rapid spin on the licker-in.
3) Through cylinder, cover plate, doffer, and stripper roller to send the cotton to the conveyer belt, and finally form nets.
P.S: 1) Licker-in: circular cylinder, carding, opening and scotching, cleaning, and separate the long and short fibers.
    2) Cylinder: carding
    3) Cover plate: cleaning again, and remove the short fiber, separate the long and short fibers
    4) Doffer: Transfer, carding
    5) There is an exhaust fan under the licker-in, suck up the unnecessary cotton after carding by the licker-in.
9. What are the distinction between combed cotton and ordinary cotton?
1) Combed cotton’s fiber is longer, whiteness is higher, impurities are lesser, and neps are lesser.
2) Ordinary cotton’s fiber is shorter, whiteness is lower (a litter yellow), impurities are more, and neps are more.
